A task from the first module — in real Python

The code runs in your browser: Python 3.14 compiled to WebAssembly. It has the two mistakes beginners make most often — find them, and the automated tests and AI review will hint where to look.

  • Checked in a fraction of a second, no sign-up
  • Mistakes explained in plain language
  • The course has more than 120 tasks like this

Task: Average order value

Python 3.14 in the browser

Write a function average_check(orders): it takes a list of orders like {"sum": 1200} and returns the average order value rounded to two decimal places. For an empty list, return 0.

Graduates

Who they were and who they became

  • I started studying so I wouldn’t have to compile reports by hand. Five months later I proposed a stock dashboard to my manager myself, and then moved to the analytics department.

    Yekaterina

procurement manager → analyst at a pharmacy chain

Capstone: Stock forecast for 140 pharmacies

  • Automatic checking helped me the most: you solve a problem at eleven at night and immediately see where the mistake is, instead of waiting for the curator until morning.

    Dmitry

process engineer → product analyst in fintech

Capstone: Onboarding funnel of a mobile bank

  • I was most afraid of SQL, and it turned out to be the clearest module. The mentor went through every homework, sometimes with three alternative solutions.

    Aliya

    marketer → marketing analyst

    Capstone: Attribution of advertising channels

  • I studied in the evenings after work; the installment plan without overpayment helped a lot. I defended my capstone on a partner’s data — and that’s what I showed at the interview.

    Sergey

accountant → data analyst in logistics

    Capstone: Delivery route optimization

  • I knew statistics but couldn’t apply it to business. The A/B testing module closed that gap — at the interview they asked exactly about that.

    Olga

math teacher → junior analyst in EdTech

Capstone: A/B test of the checkout page

  • The career track really is about getting a job: we rewrote my résumé three times, ran two mock interviews, and I found an internship through the school’s partners.

    Artyom

4th-year student → analyst intern in retail

    Capstone: RFM customer segmentation

Questions

Frequently asked questions before the start

Didn’t find an answer? Call us or ask at the free lesson.

Is the course right for me if I’ve never programmed?

Yes. The first module starts with variables and lists, and the level test will show which module to start with. If you have experience, skip the basics and finish earlier.

How much time does studying take?

On average 8–10 hours a week: two lessons, practice and a group call. Deadlines are flexible — you can take a break of up to a month without losing your place in the group.

How is homework checked?

The code is run by autotests right after you submit it, and the AI review points out where the mistake is. On plans with a mentor, a practicing analyst reviews the code within 24 hours.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, at any time we’ll refund the cost of the part of the course you haven’t taken. In the first 14 days — a full refund, no questions asked.

Can I get a tax deduction?

Yes, the school has an educational license: you can get back 13% of the cost, up to 19 500 ₽ a year. The certificate and contract for the tax office are issued in your student account.

What document will I receive?

A course completion certificate with a unique number and a QR code: an employer can verify it on the website in a second. On the Career plan, you also get a professional development certificate.
