Task
The floor-storage warehouse had to be built before the harvest. Piled grain pushes against the walls, and humidity and dust quickly eat away ordinary paint.
Solution
- 01Precast reinforced concrete retaining walls 3.5 m high and a hot-dip galvanized frame
- 02An aeration system in the floor and a ridge ventilation skylight
- 03Manufacturing in May–June, erection in 38 days
Result
- Took in the first grain on August 4
- A Ministry of Agriculture subsidy covered 25% of the costs
- A 25-year warranty on the coating
Meeting the harvest deadline is what matters most. The warehouse was up on time, and in the very first season we didn’t have to sell grain straight from the field at a low price.
