- Operating systems
A discipline of the “AI Systems Developer” program at the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University. Studying it now.
How an operating system manages processes and threads, memory, files and devices, and how programs interact with it through system calls. Alongside, I’m reading the textbooks by Tanenbaum and the Deitels.
How I apply it
My bots and APIs run in Docker on Linux servers; knowing how an OS works helps me deal with memory, processes and the performance of running services.
Where and how I applied it

Demo · Web app · speech recognition · neural network in the browser
Voice request
Whisper speech recognition runs in a background Web Worker thread so the interface doesn’t freeze.

Demo · Machine learning in Python · runs in the browser
Marketplace review analytics
Python runs via Pyodide in a separate Web Worker: the models train without blocking the page.

Demo · Web app · Laravel · PostgreSQL
Warehouse system on Laravel
A race between two PHP processes for a shared resource and the lock that prevents it.

Demo · Python backend · webhooks → amoCRM and Bitrix24
Lead integration hub
The lead hub runs in Docker on Linux, and delivery to CRM runs as background jobs alongside lead intake.

Hands-On APIs for AI and Data Science
Ryan Day
A practical book on building an API for data and connecting AI to it. The running project is a FastAPI service with a database and documentation, then an SDK for it, using the API in analytics and, finally, LangChain agents that call the API themselves.

Server Applications in Python, Django, Flask and FastAPI
R. S. Bukharev
The path of server-side development in Python, from sockets and protocols to architecture and launch on a server. Django, Flask and FastAPI are covered through real projects: a CRM system, a Telegram bot with server-side logic, a REST API for a mobile app and a WebSocket chat. Separate chapters cover caching and scaling, Docker and Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite and MongoDB, and security: password hashing, JWT and OAuth 2.0, protection against SQL injection, XSS and CSRF, TLS.
